Andy Joe Pearce is a Fort Worth-based guitarist, pianist, vocalist, songwriter, and co-founder of Killing Pearce. Originally from South Louisiana, Andy grew up in a musical family where playing alongside his cousins Rex and Emily Pearce sparked a lifelong passion for music. A school trip to the 1975 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, where he witnessed B.B. King perform, ignited his love for blues and soul.

Andy began performing with bands in Baton Rouge in 1978 and developed his songwriting under the mentorship of his cousin, Rex Pearce. In 1987, he joined Phoenix Atlanta Music as a staff songwriter, collaborating with writers including Danny Simpson, Fred Moss, and Jeffrey Sisk. Over the years, he has written songs spanning country, blues, and alternative rock.

His passion for fingerstyle electric guitar and admiration for Mark Knopfler led him to found dANG sTRAITS, recognized as North America’s only Dire Straits tribute band.

Throughout his career, Andy has performed at the Larry Joe Taylor Festival, House of Blues, and Texas Stadium. He has shared the stage with Grammy Award-winning guitarist Larry Mitchell, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, Tom Quayle, Tanya Tucker, Randy Floyd, Mark David Manders, Amy Grant, Susan Grey, Lloyd Maines, Lannie Flowers, Susan Hickman, Robben Ford, Greg Koch, Brent Mason, Gwen Hughes, Andy Timmons, and Buddy Whittington.

As a recording artist and songwriter, Andy has worked with Grammy Award-winning producers Larry Mitchell, Michael McDonald, and Kevin McKendree, as well as Greg Westfall, The Calamity Janes, Will Ray, Stevie Gurr, and Louis Conti. Today, Andy continues to write, record, and perform throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area while remaining an active member of the Andy Wood Woodshed guitar community. He currently performs alongside Kelly Killing as one half of the Texas blues rock band Killing Pearce.

Kelly Killing is a Texas vocalist, songwriter, performer, and co-founder of Killing Pearce. Known for her powerful voice and emotionally driven performances, she brings the heart of blues, soul, and classic rock to every stage. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Janis Joplin, Etta James, Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, and Beth Hart, Kelly blends timeless influences with a style all her own.

A lifelong creative, Kelly has built a career that spans music, media, wellness, and film. As a songwriter and recording artist, she is passionate about creating original music that tells honest stories of resilience, hope, and transformation while honoring the roots of American blues. Alongside co-founder Andy Joe Pearce, she leads Killing Pearce in delivering unforgettable live performances featuring iconic blues and rock classics alongside the band’s original music.

Kelly has shared the stage with Grammy Award-winning guitarist and producer Larry Mitchell and continues to perform throughout Texas at festivals, theaters, wineries, and community events. Whether fronting Killing Pearce or collaborating with fellow musicians, her mission remains the same: to create genuine connections through music and keep the spirit of blues alive for the next generation.
